Hi all,
I had to reset my laptop few days after receiving it, as it didn't want to install or update anything from MS Store (stuck on pending). This resolved the issue. But when resetting my laptop it uninstalled all drivers and apps. Now, I know there is "Downloads" tab to my order, nevertheless I have few questions (I've sent email to technical support but it may take a while for them to respond). My laptop spec is below. The Driver installation guide and list of files are attached to the post.
My questions (some of them depend on each other):
1. Should I install drivers from the Downloads section regardless or let Windows Update deal with it and just react for not found ones? Would any of these cause some compatibility errors?
2. In the Download section of my account: are all those files dedicated to my laptop or there are some "extra" that I do not need?
3. Should I install everything from Installation Procedure?
4. ISST - I have stuck on choosing the driver. It says to use "Non Production" if CPU stepping is ES and "Production" if it is QS. I tried to google it, but I have no idea how to determine that.
5. Even though it's on my list I couldn't find Ext-OED driver folder although I found same name in different localisation (in audio drivers). Will that be the one?
6. I completely couldn't find Nahimic Sound Effect folders as per procedure.
7. When checking with "Intel Driver & Support Assistant" it shows me 2 drivers that could be updated but at the same time it warns me, that if I installed them from the manufacturer I may encounter some issues if I update them. Any advice on this?
Any help would be appreciated.
