Hi everyone, with the heatwave we are facing these days I feel my poor laptop is under pressure! Now I am pretty much in idle with temperatures at around 60 degrees with short peaks at around 90 degrees while I am playing Crisis Warhead or Rome II. Which I know I am still in the limits, but even though Crisis is demanding I do not need 6 cores at full speed.
Via Intel Extreme Tuning Utility I have a core voltage offset of -0.100V. Has anyone experience with this program? In the past I always used the bios to change voltage/clock, but now I got a laptop.
My idea would be to lower the clock via ratio multiplayer and lower a bit more the voltage little by little doing some trials.
Suggestions on how you would proceed?
By the way, I am very happy with my laptop, just trying to treat it nicely.
Many thanks in advance.
