Pretty similar to what I'm looking at except I've decided to forego the Bluray and get a 500 GB harddriver (external versions are cheaper anyway).

well im looking for something with a nice long battery life and general use, not going to be gaming on it just some browser-based java games, im looking for something fast, reliable, and will never crash

This is a good point. The Enigma III 540 is a powerful multimedia/mild gaming laptop, you could get a laptop which will perform just as good in web browsing, videos, photos etc which has a better battery life for chepaer by going for a Genesis III or Xenon.
