Looking for a gaming laptop purchase help please!

So I've already got a desktop PC I built years ago, which I replace parts now and again. I'm now looking for a laptop for the ease of transport when I'm away and wanting to work on projects etc.

This is essentially what I'm needing it to perform for on the move and my budget;

Budget: £1100~

Games used most often: League of legends, PUBG, Borderlands, Shadows of Mordor.

Software used most often: Autodesk products(Inventor/Revit/3DS Max), Adobe products(Photoshop/illustrator)

Other than that I spend the majority of time just browsing and the standard Netflix viewing. If anyone could help with ideas for this and where to purchase from it would be greatly appreciated. I haven't purchased in so long I have no idea about the specs anymore!

Thanks,

Andy

There are a few ways you can play it.

For gaming, a spec with a GTX 1060 would be very preferable, especially for Shadow of Mordor. The Autodesk software may benefit from an i7 CPU.

The two of these would leave little room for increasing RAM to 16gb or adding an SSD. However, given that you can add more RAM and add an M.2 SSD, but you're stuck with the CPU and GPU you buy at the outset, it arguably makes more sense to go for the best GPU and CPU you can afford, and add more RAM / an SSD later.

Cool, glad it helped. :) Do consider the £5 warranty upgrade and the dead pixel guarantee.

Obviously the strong odds are that you will neither have to return the laptop nor have a dead pixel (hardly anyone ever posts complaining of dead pixels). But I'd probably buy them...
