If you take out the operating system then you should be able to get a decent spec on a Cosmos, Vyper or Recoil III GTX for under £800. I think you'd be looking at a GTX 1050 (or 1050 Ti with a Recoil III) - you'd be able to get an 8th/9th gen i7 with the Cosmos or Recoil, I think an 8th gen i5 on the Vyper. You could shave some money off if you leave the standard 120GB SSD in the config and have an HDD at home you can install yourself.

Not sure if those graphics cards would allow you to play high graphics settings on those games as I don't know them, but I think those are the kind of specs you'd be looking at within your budget. There is probably somebody on here more qualified than me to give advice though!

get a decent spec on a Cosmos,
Don't buy a Cosmos. It's just not good value for gaming. For this money you should be aiming at a 1050 ti, not the 1050 in the Cosmos.

And you won't get a Recoil for ~£800 either.

Your best options are either the Vyper:

Or to try to find another laptop from another company with a GTX 1050 ti in it for ~£800. They do exist, though obviously we can't recommend any :)

Just don't buy a Cosmos.

You can get a 15.6" Recoil for £824 (minus operating system) which is pretty close! The only way I could get it under £800 was to go down to 8GB RAM which isn't a sacrifice I'd personally be willing to make.

In terms of features and operation then no. It really depends on whether you prefer Intel or Killer cards... :)
