I only ever played the first one on the PS1 but what a great game!

Played all of them up to 3. I know this get's thrown around a lot of MGS3 is genuinely a masterpiece

Fingers crossed it ends up bieng a Halo (excluding the MP issues they had when the MCC launched) or Mass Effect level of remaster/remake rather than a GTA: SA one with it's serious issues

Depends entirely on who is actually doing it, for example Iron Galaxy making a console port you can bet the house on it being a complete shambles whereas if Nixxes does the port you can almost guarantee it'll be fantastic quality
