Mixing RAM sticks

Hi guys,

At the moment I have 2x4gb Corsair Vengence sticks of RAM with black heatsinks. For my colour scheme I was going to add another 2x4gb sticks of Corsair Vengence RAM but with red headsinks. Other than that they have the same specs.

They would both run in dual channel, so the black RAM in dual channel with each other and the red RAM in a seperate dual channel.

Should this cause any problems? I would post a link but it would just get removed

No, should be fine. The colour difference is just the shell, the actual RAM is exactly the same.

That's what I thought as well, but the circuit board seems to be a different colour :/
