Evening all.
Could someone chime in on the comparison between an m5a 78l micro atx board and the m5a79 mobo for an AMD spec. The former is rated as SATA 3gb/sec and the latter 6. What's the pracitical effect of this? When is my pc actively handling this amount of data transfer? Is this likely to bottleneck the performance of a single gpu (7950) setup for gaming?
My brother has elected to go for a 4170 processor, caviar black setup, with the plan of adding an ssd around Christmas. My limited understanding of micro atx boards is that they have less room for expansion slots, however having played with the configurator i didnt think i'd be too limited in adding a boot drive down the line - am I right in saying that?
Cheers

EDIT: we're just going to have to stick with my misspelled title as I can't edit it - doh
