Intermittent problems with the mouse. It freezes sometimes and sometimes the pointer disappears completely. If I switch off the mouse and remove the battery for a few seconds then try again this often fixes the problem but not always. If I shut down and leave the PC off for a while before restarting it often solves the problem but I may need to do this more than once before it's successful. I have put in a new battery just as a shot in the dark but I am not certain what is going on. Has anybody got any clues?
