It's on it's second business day and processing... HURRY!!! :)

I have to admit I got excited and rushed the build and had to make concessions; namely I couldn't choose my first choice of case (HAF-X) as there were component issues, couldn't add a sound card, and forgot to change the SSD to the one I wanted (but kudos to PCS support who changed this for me in about 5m).

Also I couldn't choose a build rush option as the MOBO is out of stock :( (which would've been awesome as I'm off work ill at the moment)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to my new PC, although I'll have to contend with customs here first!!!

What do you think? I'm hoping to add another HD7970 at a later date - should I have gone for the Corsair silver modular (1050w?)

I'm kind of curious as to why you've gone for two monitors and one HDMI lead :)
The Iiyamas do come with DVI leads anyway, just curious as to why you want that one HDMI lead (unless its for something else entirely of course)

Once everything is in stock, you should be able to upgrade to fast track, and the fast track time would start from when payment was received for it I believe, in case you really can't wait :)

What are you going to be using the PC for? You've gone for quite a bit of RAM

Thanks for the reply Rakk,

As far as I could see the HD 7970 only has 1 HDMI connector (am I being dense?)

Is there an option for HDMI splitting and would this affect anything?

The PC is mainly going to be for gaming but I see it as an investment - I'm getting something powerful now so It will (hopefully) last a few years being able to play the best at the best :)

I was impatient and rang support who said the same thing about the fast track and also said the PSU should be able to accommodate another HD 7970.

I really just wanted the fast track so that I could get a few days of gaming in before I went back to work so the fast track isn't such a big deal with the MOBO out of stock.

You might be right about the RAM... perhaps I should get into film editing to justify it :p

Actually it was me being dense, for the past few PC's I've had they had NVidia cards which have two DVI ports on them so I always use two of the same connection, so I just thought it odd using two different ones, but yes, on the HD7970 it does indeed look like theres one HDMI and one DVI.
So just ignore that previous suggestion of mine :)
