Experience with Yodel :

I've heard a lot of negative things about Yodel and I was really worried yesterday ..

But everthing was perfect .. delivered 9 am in the morning .. not a single scratch on the packaging and Haf X ..

Thanks to PCS for being fast and reliable ..

Would use them again ..

Thanks guys .. Sorry for my late reply ( been busy playing games :p )

Anyways i have a question ..

Im planning to get another geforce gtx 580 but im just wondering if 2 geforce gtx 580 better than a single geforce gtx 590 ?

Pretty sure 2x 580 in sli are better performance-wise than a single 590. The same as 2x 6970 benchmark slightly above a single 6990. That was the jist of the reviews I read before picking the 6990 as my GPU, as I was planning to add a 2nd down the line, otherwise i'd have gone for the sli 580s.

The single 3GB GTX 580 isn't impressive enough for you on it's own? xD

But, from what I read it seems to go;
590 beats a 580
2x 580 beat a 590
2x 590 beat 2x 580
and then there was mixed speculation with 3x 580 vs 2x 590 - the 3x 580 apparently are more power efficient etc but the 2x 590 performed better.

Nice pc! Is it just me or does that monitor look like a mirror though? Or is it different when you're sat infront of it?

Nice rig +rep

Great choice of case, obviously the only proper choice.

Anyway in reply to question about 590, yes 2 x 580 in sli are more powerful than a single 590. Theres actually quite a bit of difference. The reason is that even though the 590 is essentially 2 580's in sli on a single board, the 580's arent clocked as high which means they are individually slower than a normal 580.

2 580's are amazing :) trust me lol

Thats good to hear .. is the installation complicated ? .. i mean i've watched a lot of videos about installation but do i need to know about anything else ? .. which im sure my rig can support 2 3gb gtx 580 ..

nah you just stick it in the other slot (your motherboard is defo able to do SLI) and use an SLI bridge to link them, then its just a case of turning on SLI in your graphics options on the control panel.

Wow! It's really that simple? I thought there would be a plethora of annoying, fiddly bits to do! Thank God! Once I've fully paid for my Rig, I may opt for SLI to have a triple monitor set up >:D

Did you get all the extra modular power cables and all the CD's and other cables for the motherboard etc?
