As I am not a pc expert this will be more about my experiences than a technical review.
I first started to think about buying a gaming and media pc about a year ago and started searching the internet to find a pc builder as I didn’t feel confident enough to build my own and didn’t want to buy anything from PC World or the like.
I was regularly visiting loads of websites but always kept coming back to PCS because I liked the ease of use of the pc configurator, the prices and the forums.
After spending a few months saving some money and browsing the forums to see what kind of pc I should buy I finally took the plunge on 14/10/15 and placed my order (this was about 7pm).
A few email updates from PCS later and my pc was ready for dispatch on 16/10/15 (about 7 am), 36 hours after placing my order. Because of the weekend my pc spent more time at the DPD depot than it took to build but I received more updates that it would be delivered on 19/10/15 and given a one-hour time slot which was kept to and the pc arrived in excellent condition and the delivery guy was very nice.
Unpacking everything was easy and everything I needed was included (thankfully because during setup I realised I needed a vga-dvi converter for my monitor and it was in the welcome pack with everything else).

As soon as I had connected everything and powered on there was a couple of minutes of Windows 10 finishing the install then it was ready to use. By the way, having Windows 10 on the Samsung ssd is amazing and boots up so fast (7-8 seconds) that using a pc is a pleasure again.
I have only tried a few games over the past week but Dayz plays like a dream and looks amazing even on my old monitor which I will replace on Black Friday.
The pc is incredibly quiet, super-fast and looks fantastic (inside and out) and it’s great to be able just keep opening games and programs and docs and not worry about the pc slowing down.
To summarise, I couldn’t have had a better experience buying from PC Specialist and I am so happy with my pc. I would like to thank everyone who helped to build and deliver my pc and kept me up to date with constant emails as well as the people on the forums who inspired my build. :tt1:

Nice PC and you are lucky to have recieved it.

The lack of communication from PC Specialist is beyond a joke sorry but no matter how good their products are if their customer service is BAD well they will loose new customers

That's a very strange comment to make in a review thread? He doesn't mention anything about lack of communication or anything, not sure your comment was meant for this thread? Please don't gatecrash other people's threads, if you need to vent, create your own post please.

Nice review to OP, thanks for pictures too.

I am sorry if you have had a bad experience but all i can do is comment on my own. During the 5 days it took between placing my order and receiving it i had a total of 7 emails keeping me up to date with what was going on and what the next step was. I never felt out of the loop and like i said above this was just one of the aspects of my dealings with PC Specialist and i couldn't have been happier with the service that i received.

From reading these forums i can see that some people are not as happy as me but i feel it is important to say well done and thanks when you have had a good experience.
