I hope to provide a more in depth review of this, but I just wanted to let you all know that the laptop arrived and it is a stunner!
The laptop so far has exceeded my expectations of just how good a gaming laptop can be.
It is a solid piece of equipment with nice cool metal finishes. The screen is sharp, good colour contrast and no graining (another user had this problem).
As for the CPU i7 Quad 2.8 its lightning fast. My windows rating is 7.7
The GPU 880m is great, ultra settings on Borderlands 2 and I was getting 70 fps, some of the effects are great and could not enable these on my previous laptop. DayZ worked very very well, 54 fps at high settings, just a shame my character has vanished and I started with just my pants on! lol
Blackflag works at 56fps on high and 1080p
Tried out ShadowPlay and its a great function too, gonna get into more YouTube videos.
The keyboard is great, lighting colours are awesome. The laptop is just the best piece of gaming equipment I have ever used. Loving it!!!!
