Hello
What will be your futur uses ?
What's you budget ?

But i can already give you some advices :
Go for win10 and not win11
Don't take bullguard, it's know for causing problems and win defender do the job
Maybe upgrade the thermal paste ^^
And lastly, i'd go for a primary 500go samsung 980pro and a 1To 970evo ^^

I will use the destian 15.6 to drive variety of cad modelling software and also for gpu/ cpu renderings, both images and video. my job involves moving around to work between sites, I need it as desktop replacement machine.

All my previous advices are still valid so ^^
And you may want to upgrade to 32 go of ram

The only thing I'd suggest, even more importantly on a professional machine is stick to Windows 10 for now, there are still a lot of bugs in windows 11 and a lot of professional suites still don't fully support it.

The upgrade is free and easy to do when you're ready.

Totally agree with @Tron1982 also about removing Bullguard, use windows defender or whatever your work recommends.

And definitely 32Gb RAM if you can.

You don't need to upgrade the paste, as it's a DTR it comes with the high quality paste by default.

But otherwise it looks spot on.

Thank you very Much,
I have opted for windows 10 as you have suggested, I will remove bullguard, But I will keep 16gb ram, I will upgrade later depending on my system memory consumption after testing.

Are you ok with noise, right? Because a 12-core desktop CPU and a mobile 3070 inside a laptop is definitely going to get noisy when under load (sometimes even on low loads like using Chrome). You can always use Control Center to change power and fan profiles, like quiet when doing light tasks (it lowers fans and CPU clocks) and entertainment when you're doing more heavy tasks and need the extra speed (and noise :D ).

Just pointing this out as some people don't know the drawbacks of DTRs, so it's always good to know what you're getting into. I absolutely love the flexibility that mine gives me, but it required some fiddling around with settings until I was fully happy with it.

I'm currently trying to figure out the same thing with my destian (even with the lower cpu). Really surprised by how loud it is. Wife ran in thinking there was something wrong with it

From 9791 score points. my Destian 15,6 can reach 11718 cinebench 23 score points by using ryzenmaster oveclocking tool.
