Naughty laptop

My seven year old Acer laptop broke after my sister spilt some water on it. So after some deliberation, I've decided to go all out. A few years ago, I ordered a £3000 laptop from Rock, but after much messing about (including them not delivering during the week I had taken off work, despite being promised the delivery on each day), I cancelled the order.

Hope I don't have the same thing happen here.

Presuming you need a laptop for portability reasons, What do you intend using it for?

You said you ordered a 3k laptop some time ago but it fell through, whats your budget this time? It's also worth remembering a 3k laptop wont be that much faster than a 1.5k laptop pound for pound.

Depending on your exact usage, it could be possible to modify it slightly to get the best spec for you.

Originally I used to be into PC gaming but since that £3k deal fell through, I bought a ps3 out of anger. Love it though.

Laptop mainly for photoshop with raw files, video converting, and playing dvds. Want to get back into pc gaming again too.

Blu-ray burner, 500gb hdd, gfx card and matte screen are all "luxuries".
