Need a new pc :)

Hello! Currently I have Inspiron 1545 laptop, but would like to have a pc as well. What I need it for: 3d modeling (Maya), Photoshop, Premier Pro, SAI, After Effects, playing Aion (would like to play it on full settings ^^ ). Iw would be nice if it lasted for couple of years, and it have to render my work nicely :3
I'm a uni student so something around £2000 would be nice, but I'm not going to hunt anyone if it will be a bit over it.

What I was thinking about:
Intel i7 quad core processor
32 gb of ram
3 gb radeon hd7970 graphic card
Intel cpu liquid cooler (might be overboard, but not sure if I want to risk overheating while I render -.- and my room gets hot anyway with my tropical fishtanks)
Windows 7 64 bit

Didn't decide about the rest yet, and don't know anything at all about motherboards so suggestions are welcome :)

So, I will be buying this in a month or so (depends when I will be coming back from holiday). I was wondering if I should go with the standard wifi connection or homeplugs? I have never actually heard of homeplugs, so I don't have any idea how well they will work, do they have everything I need in the box? On my laptop I always have very good/ excellent signal so is it worth buing homeplugs?

Explanations

Ivy bridge - Works better with the new graphics cards because of the support for PCI 3.0
Gaming is more developed on quad core CPUS rather than higher ones, there's a thread about it explaining this
As long as you don't overclock ivy bridge will not overheat

Cooler - Air coolers can be as good as liquid ones, depending what quality it is, The one mentioned is one of the best air coolers you can get but if you want to upgrade to
liquid cooling you can
Case - Has 3 fans which you can control, good air cooling and will keep your system cool.
Misc - There's enough left to add homeplugs which will be good for constant internet speed or a good monitor.
Ram - There's no need in this part of time for 32GB of ram, I've put in 16GB of ram.
GPU - nVidia GPUs are better for video rendering + the power-supply is big enough for you to SLI them in the future

NOTE: If you save up over 2000, Bump down the SSD to 240 kingston and upgrade the GPU to 690, it'll last you a long long long looooooooooooooooooooooooooong time, plus the fact it has 4GB memory means it's better to use on multiple screens and high resolution gaming

The homeplugs vs wireless, Homeplugs are better for example if you were like me and you're in the last room in 1st floor whilst wireless is downstairs in first room... You'd get a bad wireless connection.

Homeplugs would also give you a constant speed whilst wireless gets weakened by things such as microwave when it's on or any other wireless device in the house
because of the frequency it travels at (my microwave completely destroys the wireless signal when it gets turned on... :( )

But yea i'd advise homeplugs

It's not meant to be a gaming pc :p but a work computer; 3d modeling (as well as animation, and all of the pre production), rendering, digital painting etc... all of it shouldn't be considered regular video editing.
I got 3000 of savings but really don't want to spend all of it on pc :3 (want to upgrade my tropical fish tank as well >.<)
I think I might go with your advice and upgrade graphic card :3 but over all I'm liking the first suggestion better :) and I'm in love with the black phantom case *.* it will fit the look of my furniture (black gloss).

If you are gaming on single monitor on a resolution of up to 1920x1080 then a gtx670 will definately be enough to run any game on high settings.
Also there is no real advantage of using pcie 3.0 instead of pcie 2.0 for current gpu's

A ok :p

the "playing Aion" made me think that you do some gaming aside

In which case for your needs BG92 has given some nice specs :)
