Hey guys, had my PC for a while now and don't really want to get a new one but I am looking to upgrade a component at least.

I use the PC for gaming, religiously and I also like to record my gameplay because I make youtube videos.

What I want to know really is where my money would be best spent, which component is worth being upgraded the most in order to make my games run smoother while recording?

Without posting the whole spec of the PC i'll give you the information in a simple form, it's by far the best gaming PC in the world..

CPU: Intel core i5-2400 quad core @ 3.10ghz

GPU: Nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti

RAM: 8GB Samsung dual DDR3 (2x4GB)

Motherboard: Asus p8h67-m lx si m-atx

HDD:500GB SERIAL ATA 3-Gb/s HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7,200rpm)

I know it's a terrible HDD and I will eventually get an SSD but that's not my priority at the moment

Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

hey, thanks for the reply!

this is the PSU I have:
600W Quiet 80 PLUS Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan

I was also thinking the graphics card but with little experience didn't want to waste my money, will the other components I have make much of an impact on holding back a more powerful GPU?

Since you have an i5 I wouldn't expect your system to bottleneck your GPU, what is your budget?

If I knew I was going to be getting a big improvement in performance(FPS) I would go for a budget of about £300, any recommendations?

Some cards offer higher clock speed (overclocked) and better cooling. If you want to spend less than £300 you could get the MSI 2048MB GeForce GTX 670 OC.
