Hi guys, i bought a pcs machine in Nov and i'm loving it, i now need a cheap rig for my other half so i instantly thought of you after all the help you gave me last time round. She mainly plays things like WoW and is interested in rift etc and thats all this one is for, the kicker is i only have about £600-650 to spend at the minute.
She also needs a monitor and speakers in that price.

Can anyone one suggest a build or two? ? Thanking you in advance for your time and advice.

And speakers

I would possibly reccomend a Caviar green 1TB for an extra £15
twice the storage and faster loading speeds at startup and for programs
Bargain!!

cheers for your input :)
would it be bottlenecked if i dropped the x4 to a x2 560? as this would allow me to put a 5770 and a WD drive in for £678. which for me is basically on budget, you should have seen how far over i went on my last one lol

Not really being helpfull here, but surely the "over Budget" element is a cunning plow and tactic by PCS to make us Drool over the tech and pay that little bit more.

I for one, will always vounch for paying that little bit extra if you can. I started on £1k budget and pushed it to £1.2k and that's for a lappy... ;)

for the £15, definately go with Nem's comments.

Also, as far as speakers go, personally, I would always opt for a decent headset/mic rather than Speakers. Although, I'm old skool gamer type..lol - hell, my first gaming "laptop" was a zx81 with a poor coded version of "Horrace goes skiing" :D

the S220s are a solid buy for £19
Not going to raise the roof but as far as value goes they are great and the sound quality is good (or is to most people) also personally i like the design

2.1 sound means youve got a subwoofer and two mid/high speakers so all bases are covered (apart from like low 50hz bass)

You would honestly rate Speakers over a good headset?

(Disclaimer: I would never doubt you on technical advice...a la cpu/gfx/mobo) :D

Well ive got some M-Audio BX5a's which shake the air so yes
But for immersion i guess you would be better of with Headsets at that budget

Cant talk from experience but does anyone think these would be any good for £33 off amazon

Oh and thanks for the trust pez
Isuppose that opinion comes from being more of a musician than a gamer

Creative are a pretty solid brand though in my opinion, never used their headphones though!
