Hi,
Bit of a random one, in the "does it exist" vein...
I'm going to relocate a pc and a console to a room where I've had a network port installed (the other end is next to my router elsewhere in the house).
I was looking at switches so I could connect both devices to this port, for which there's endless choice. So far so simple.
However, I was wondering if it was also possible to connect my laptop as well, which doesn't have an ethernet port. I have discovered I can get a USB to Ethernet device, but was wondering if any switches also supported a USB data connection directly.
Google gives me endless results for USB-powered network switches and USB hubs.
I'm leaving aside the 'just connect via Wifi' angle for now, which is what I will probably end up doing. This is mostly a work-avoidance question really, to put off what I ought to be doing today...
