Hey guys nd gals,

Iv been a pure laptop gamer for the past 5 years but its sadly time to retire my xps. We got a PCS desktop back in 2000 (and yes it still runs which tbh is pretty amazing) but now that my laptops on its last legs im loiking for a new gaming rig.

Iv got a £1000 budget which i cant go over at all but iv already got my moniter which iv currently got an xbox hooked up too. If at all possible id very much appreciate u guys looking over the following specs to see if all good.

No, that's a slight upgrade to the stock one, which is really all you need unless you're overclocking. If you want an upgrade, the Spire Thermax Eclipse I've heard performs better than the entry Coolit Eco, for £20 less.

Besides that, the 570 is slightly better than the 7850, but there is a reasonable price difference and if you're not doing anything more taxing besides gaming, then that is a pretty good option I'd say.

Looking at what you posted only a couple of suggestions from me
- unless you're planning on upgrading the free trial to something else I'd suggest you don't get them to put any antivirus or free office stuff on there and just sort yourself out with the proper stuff so there's less clutter installed.
- Is there any feature on the V mobo you particularly want? otherwise you can save money getting the V-LX or M.
- Agree with the others on the cooler, I ordered the triple copper heatpipe for mine and guessing you won't be overclocking with that CPU.

Better motherboards just offer extra specific features or more slots, but the cheaper motherboards are fine for what you need.

It's £1012 sadly... However the graphics card is almost equal in performance with 680..
thus being one of the best cards in the market at the moment
