Hi,

Wouldn't mind people casting their eyes over this and seeing if there was anything to be done differently?

I already have a large hard drive to fit to it myself for storage hence the small SSD main drive for the OS with a partition for a recovery drive.

Mainly to be used for gaming, some light video editing etc.

Unless you are using a lot of high res monitors downgrade to the 2gb 770. I also don't think you really need the i7, but you might choose to keep it. Also, silver warranty is £5....
You might want to think about a larger psu as well.

Thanks for that, I had missed the warranty option so special thanks for pointing that out!

Quite a reasonable saving for those changes without losing much performance for what I use it for.

I would use the fast track money to get a better case and motherboard. No need for h60 with the CPU you have chosen, any particular reason for windows professional?

I read that windows pro was better at handling machines if you upped the power/performance in the future? Not sure how accurate that was?

I'm so impatient when I buy stuff hence the fast track - I could upgrade the motherboard, any recommendations?

Windows professional is not going to improve performance just adding feature you may not need, for gaming is not needed. Motherboard z87-a or z97-a. The one you selected is a micro atx board with less expansion slots.
