new gaming pc

Hi wondering if someone can give me some specifics of what to get here, i was on the forums the other day and stated i had around £1400 to spend on a computer that would mostly be for gaming and i got computer specs that looked awesome, but i just had to spend some of my computing fund on getting my car sorted so now i am looking to spend about £1000 could maybe go abit higher. so if anyone can give me specs for a good gaming comp it would be great. i was looking for about 16gb ram could settle for 8. 2tb could settle for 1tb, nvidia 2gb, i was going for the 680 but would there be much of a difference between that and the 560.
