Not the most up to date with latest and greatest spec wise so figure its worth posting to get some advice. Quite an exciting time, first new PC I've bought for me in a while!
Budget: ~£3000
Uses: Gaming mostly, general office-work type uses also. Lots of YouTube (super taxing I know).
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G9
At the minute with the config below comes to £2804.00 (inc. the RTX 3080 which I've had to remove to get to the post to forums link).
Few questions/notes from me for anyone who cares to share their thoughts (maybe more will come out in the wash);

- 1. Is the ~£75 worth it to bump from the 3800XT to the 3900XT or is it detrimental for a gaming system??
- 2. Should I bother considering 32Gb RAM - generally I'd think not, but maybe (~£100)?
- 3. I opted for a 2Tb M.2 drive as the board + CPU supports it. However is this overkill? (I have other drives to bring over from my current rig).
- 4. I chose this case as to me it looks nice, although happy for case recommendations.
- 5. When I selected the 3080 and clicked proceed I didn't get any warnings about the power supply, so I figure its within a 20% allowance of that. Does anyone know if it'll come with the required new PCIe connector for the 30xx cards?
