New Gaming Rig

I'm building a new liquid cooled rig soon, looking to overclock and I really can't decide between the 6700K or the 5960X! I would like to run SLI for some 4k action but with Pascal right around the corner, I may not have to. Thoughts and general wisdom pretty please!

This is what I've decided on so far:-

- CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K - As it is heck of a lot cheaper than the 5960X and performance gain is marginal.

- GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX - 1080 as they promise to be better than the 980ti, waiting out on benchmarks to see if I want to go SLI or not.

- SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 2TB - Because why not, though I am entertaining a smaller SSD just for my operating system. Maybe M.2 Thoughts?

- RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 C14 2x8GB - According to Intel you can burn out your CPU memory controller if you have anything faster than 2133 for my chosen CPU.

- MBD: Asus SABERTOOTH X99 - Because it looks better than the rampage and I believe still provides me with what I need.

- PSU: EVGA SuperNova P2 850W 80 Platinum Modular.

- Case: In Win 909 Silver.

Will really appreciate anyone's input as this is my first build after a long long time. Also any suggestions on quality manufacturers of liquid cooling systems, radiators, connectors, pumps etc....

Unfortunately since the forum belongs to PCS who sells desktops/laptops it is not encouraged to discuss or give advice on self builds or other retailers. You could try toms hardware instead. Benchmarks for the new range of GPUs are hopefully available on the 17th May, for gaming I would go with anni7-6700k
