What monitor are you gaming on? Just that BENQ GL2760H in the spec?

How much is your budget?

How much did the above cost?

Will you be doing anything else like video editing, or just gaming and streaming?

i'll be mostly gaming and streaming with just shorting footage from streams to put on youtube. limit is £3000 and this build cost me just over but not fussed about it. to kick things off i'll probs be gaming on the benq when streaming from pc buuuut i also have a tv for console gaming in my setup which im going to be changing to a ultrawide curved lg gaming monitor so i'll be incorparting that into my setup. so when im streaming pc games i'll have a 3 monitor setup n when streaming pc ill have a 2 monitr setup as i'll be using the gaming monitor for console also. Just want to get this absolutely spot on n have a right go of streaming.

feel free to take my spec n see if you can take the price down some for me with a better spec. it will mostly be used for gaming and streaming @ up to and including 1080p 60fps, with rare video recording and some editing of simple images for overlays and stuff.

I think it's spending a bit too much in some of the wrong places, and that actually you can achieve the same results for pretty much half the price.

The 7820x is very expensive, and basically redundant. The i7 8700k on the Z370 platform has better gaming performance, while the AMD R7 2700x has similar gaming performance, and is as good or better for streaming, while being much cheaper. Both the i7 8700k and R7 2700x are newer than the 7820x, which goes some way to explaining why they were able to undercut it price-wise.

Also the X299 platform is brutally expensive, and you've chosen the most expensive mobo which has a lot of features you don't need.

Furthermore, for your uses there's no advantage to 32gb RAM. 16gb is plenty, and more than futureproof for your needs.

For a build this expensive you'd probably want a more efficient and better quality PSU like the TXm series.

You should also be looking at a dedicated SSD rather than an Optane module.

For 1080p gaming, there's just no point to a GTX 1080 ti. A GTX 1070 is plenty, while a GTX 1080 is extravagant. There's no point to the 1080 ti - you're only paying for performance you don't need.. and by the time you do get any benefit off it, there will be newer, more powerful, less expensive GPUs with far more advanced features available. So it's not really futureproof.

Alternatively, get a better monitor. Something 1440p, 144hz, with gsync (~£600) would pair well with a GTX 1080 ti.

I'd really suggest the Magma Pro spec here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/configure-review/259/

It's about £1750's worth of hardware for a discounted ~£1500 price. The only down side being you can't reconfigure the components, but its spec is pretty much perfectly suited to your needs.

Plus you'll want an Elgato, which PCS might be able to add in or which you can get yourself, and the monitor.

Or if not the Magma Pro, then another spec based on the AM4 platform with an R7 2700x, which you can sped up here:
