New laptop, help needed please?

Hi folks, my daughter has asked me to recommend a laptop for her family, they will be using it for general use, eg itunes, photos school work etc, no video editing or gaming whatsoever. They will each (x4) have their own user on it, if that makes sense to you, and they only have a maximum of £550, which would include a wireless printer, so I don't expect the world. I would very much appreciate any help on components etc, and once again I don't expect a lot at that price.
