New laptop is getting windows 8 a good idea?

as the title says I am quite happy with the set up just curious about the OS would it be better to stick with windows 7 or just go for 8?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have windows 8 on my 17" optimus4 and am enjoying it thoroughly
There was some oddness with the sound driver but a couple of reboots solved that.

One note is that intel have not release usb3 drivers so the ports are all usb2 at the moment. Not a big problem.

Just been reading around the forums is my hard drive set up alright?

I want to use the SSD to run windows and a few other program's and have the 500gb as storage is that going to be alright?

I think as long as you have your main/1st Hard drive as the SSD, then you can run windows through it.

As for sofware, I would stick with windows 7, windows 8 not heard too many good things about.

I was reading another thread and it was saying a 15.6 chassis couldn't support two hard drives. But after going to the clevo website I think I'm good. Just want to get the laptop now!
