Thermal Paste STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING

Hi :punk: please find my spec above for your comment, any you may have.
Please disregard the hard disk and thermal paste, I have those components at home which I plan to install myself so I went with the cheapest options there.
One question I do have is my chosen screen size, this will lead to a smaller chassis and will that in turn have a significant overall effect on the cooling ability of the machine?
I look forward to receiving this machine from PCS in the near future.

thank you.

Getting the silver warranty?

I stuck with the default warranty. The silver level offers free collection for just £5 more which is excellent, but I have free access to FedEx services through my workplace.
If PCS allow warranty upgrades I may consider the gold level in time.

They do allow you to upgrade the warranty, but only until 3 months before your current one runs out (where runs out means either the return+collect or parts runs out - I not entirely sure which of those determines the date, but silver and up they are the same anyway)

If you purchase the standard warranty, you will not be able to increase it after your PC leaves us.

OK. Can I renew it when the time comes as Rakk suggests, and can you clarify exactly when that is allowed?

cheers.

What I understood from Mooseh's post is that if you choose standard warranty you can't upgrade the warranty after your PC is dispatch.

Item 1 Change to 120GB KINGSTON V300 SSD, SATA 6 Gb (450MB/R, 450MB/W) from 250GB SERIAL ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (5,400rpm)
Item 2 Change to ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND (£9) from STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Item 3 Change to 3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) (£5) from 3 Year Standard Warranty (1 Month Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour)
Item 4 Change to 30 Day Dead Pixel Guarantee Inc. Labour & Carriage Costs (£12) from NONE

I upgraded the warranty to silver and included 30 day dead pixel. I also figured why pay £30 for a 5400rpm drive I don't really want, I might as well throw a few more ££ in and get an SSD I can use elsewhere.
Hopefully this wont delay the order too much, but any road I appreciate being able to make tweaks so easily.

Clarification on Warranty
Standard - May not be upgraded after we dispatch the machine.
Silver + Gold - Can be upgraded from date of ordering and any time after that up UNTIL 3 months before one part of the warranty lapses. Once you are within that last 3 months.. Sorry missed your chance, its not personal.

e.g. Your order arrives with you on January the 1st 2014, You can upgrade a Silver any time up UNTIL the 1st of October 2014. Gold is any time up until 1st of October 2015.
