Hello, I am looking to get a new pc for the purpose of 3D modelling using blender. I'll also use the machine for gaming and leisure, but 3D modelling is the main important thing.
I'll need to do simulations and animations, so both a strong CPU and GPU are required.
I have set myself a budge of ideally about £2000, But I'm willing to go up higher, to lets, say £2500. Any advice to save some money is fine.
I'm honestly not too knowledgeable about hardware, so some guidance and advice would be very much appreciated.
Case
CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE (not too fussed about the case, I just chose this one because it apparently has better airflow, which I assume will keep my pc cooler)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16 Core CPU (4.5GHz-5.7GHz/80MB CACHE/AM5) (Blender generally seems to be better on intel processors, but I read to stay away from them for now. I don't whether I should go for the amd ryzen 9 9900x or 9 7950x. I'm not sure if this is still the case, but I was told that blender only uses single threads for simulations, so I need faster single core speed rather than more cores.)
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI (AM5, DDR5, PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 6E) (Not sure if this is a good motherboard. I Just read it from other builds posted here)
Memory (RAM)
64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 32GB) KIT
Graphics Card
16GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4080 SUPER - HDMI, DP, LHR (I wanted the 4070 TI super but it was out of stock. 4080 is stretching my wallet a little. I might go back to 4070 super to save some money here)
Graphics Card Support Bracket
NONE (BRACKET INCLUDED AS STANDARD ON 4070 Ti / RX 7700 XT AND ABOVE)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 4125MB/sR, 2950MB/sW)
1st Storage Drive
1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 256MB CACHE
Power Supply
CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
PCS FrostFlow 360 Series ARGB High Performance Liquid Cooler (good enough? Already pushing my budget, so I don't want to spend too much, but I don't want my PC overheating neither. I'll be doing renders and simulations for hours long.)
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Extra Case Fans
1 x 120mm PCS Black Case Fan
(everything from this point downwards I basically didn't change. I hope the rest of it is okay. but any suggestions are fine)

Network Card
ONBOARD 2.5Gbe LAN PORT
