I placed the order on a Monday, just after midnight. I was pretty excited to get an e-mail the next day saying it had been built! I was envisaging that the PC would arrive in the next couple of days. In the end it took a bit longer (as you can see from the dates above), but that was still earlier than the expected arrival.
I've added in 2 x SSD that I already had and a Nvidia 570. And started re-installing all the OS and all my programs.
I wasn't able to use it over the bank holiday weekend, as I went away. But got back today and started testing it more.
I found that the CPU was getting really hot when running Prime 95, i.e. straight away it would shoot up to over 95C, and then the CPU would start getting auto throttled.
I tried re-applying some thermal paste and re-seating the heatsink. But it was still the same results. Luckily I googled some more, and actually found a post from someone else from PC Specialist who had a Titan Fenrir and an overheating CPU. He had tightened one of his screws more and then it was fixed.
I tightened my screws more - a bit worried it might crush the CPU, but it seems to have greatly improved the temps, I got a max of 75C on Prime 95 blend. It's still a bit high, since I'm running at only 1.28v and with hyperthreading turned off, but it's bearable.
The Raven case seems quite nice. The champagne trim looks fine to me, mostly looks silvery. The case has quite a lot of space inside, and since most of the wires go behind the motherboard, it's arranged quite cleanly. It has screws instead of thumbscrews to open the case, but that's a minor complaint. Hopefully won't have to open the case up anymore for a while.
Anyway, here's some pics!
