New pc order

Hi I have just placed an order for this spec. But looking at a few recent posts in seems like AMD is the way to go over the i9, is this something I can change now or is it too late? I can't seem to select an AMD processor when i try to amend the order... Is there that much of a difference between these?

Also any other suggestions or changes? I will be using it for mainly gaming as well as work (photo and minor video editing). Also looking at the LG 27GN950-B monitor but am also open to suggestions on this. Cheers

As you have already placed the order for the Intel, I believe you will need to cancel the order and reorder it using the AMD configurator, but some people have said they have been able to change the motherbord and CPU over the phone with PCS support, you may want to try that.

If you have only just placed the order, cancel and redo it.
Intel are shocking atm, and have been for a while. You will get far better performance, at a lower cost, taking AMD but the configurators are separate, you cant switch it as an amendment.

You've also picked the old H115 model, you want the H115i Platinum for the very high end AMD's, or the H100i Plat (it will depend which CPU you go with). While im at it...
32GB RAM is pointless for gaming, very very few titles use the 16GB and unless you are looking at something like MSFS 2020 (which benefits from it, but by no means needs it) its just wasted money.
The Firecudas are also better M.2 drives in the 1TB and 2TB sizes than samsung (budget is only consideration here, and given youve thrown money at the rest...)

If you are also going to buy insurance on it, leaving it as the basic warranty (which is far more likely to be of use) seems a bit like a daft move.
