I ordered my first desktop to take the place of my laptop (that's currently plugged into a screen and being used a desktop), here are the specs:

Yeah, it's not going to be used for gaming, but I set it up to have the option of gaming just by adding a GPU later on. I was going to go for 120gb, but I'll dual boot it with Linux and Windows so I upped it to 250, and I've already got a 3TB external hard drive :).

I'll need quite a lot of memory for my Uni work, running simulations and machine learning algorithms.

It finally says In Building!! A couple of days ago it gave me the option to upgrade my motherboard and RAM to DDR4 so I did, saved £6 doing that :p. I also upgraded the power supply to a 650W CS Series and bought a second hand MSI GTX 970 ready :).

It went into testing a couple of hours after the build time yesterday, and is still in testing. Obviously it'll get shipped early next week assuming no problems. What type of DPD delivery is the standard? Is it next day or 2 working days? I notice that the upgrade options are only to get it delivered earlier in the day which I don't really care about.

Standard DPD delivery is next working day, so if it was dispatched today it'd most likely be delivered on Monday, if dispatch on Monday, it'd most likely be delivered on Tuesday etc

(And yes, mine went into 'In testing' yesterday afternoon and is still there as well)
