New to building PC's, is this okay for a gaming PC?

Does everything work together fluently here or are there some things I should know?

Also another question that I'm quite worried about.. I've never used water cooling in any PC before.. Is it safe? Are there any things to watch out for?
Thank you so much for reading!

Do you have a budget? The corsair hydro coolers are safe but it seems like a waste if you are not planning to overclock your cpu

We love you Ukraine
What resolution monitor are you going to be playing on?

I take it you're not interested in overclocking? Watercooling is only worth it when you're overclocking quite heavily.

What's your max budget?

I'm playing on a 1920x1080 monitor. I don't plan on overclocking but I would like to keep my PC very cool while playing games and other things. My budget is £2000 and thank you for the fast replies!

You can get a pre overclocked system for your budget. Going for the most expensive cpu cooler won't help significantly with temps if you still decide to go with a non-k cpu

Bear in mind that to some degree, temperatures are just numbers. Whether your CPU is a 68 degrees while gaming or 63 doesn't really matter.

With a £2k budget I'm suggest a better mobo and faster RAM, which will also let you have an NVMe SSD.

If it's a 60hz 1080p monitor, a GTX 1070 would be more than fine.

For a stock clocked build the Noctua is well more than enough.

Thank you Oussebon I think I will purchase the setup you provided. I got a pop up when I clicked purchase about installing the OS on the SSD drive or mechanical hard drive. Which one should I pick?

Oussebon

The SSD. Things on the SSD will load a lot faster, so it's where you want Windows, programs, and your favourite games.

Would the PC stay cool so long as I don't have many programs open while playing games on fullscreen ect?

Define cool.

It should stay sufficiently cool during gaming, well within the tolerances of the various components.

Then yes, unless PCS botch the job or you play in an oven, the thermal performance should be more than fine :)

Sorry for the double post but you also selected an extra case fan. If this is installed on the roof of the PC (it states that it could be) wouldn't this recirculate hot air at all?

PCS say they'll install the fan as an extractor at either the rear, or the roof.

Most cases come with a rear extractor fan but the 570X does not. So I expect PCS will fit it at the rear to extract the air from there rather than the roof.

There's no down side. It will help improve airflow, as the front fans pull the air in and over the components, and the rear fan will help exhaust the hot air so it doesn't stay inside the case. That's my very basic understanding of PC case fluid dynamics anyway. :)
