I got home from work the other night to find out that the workmen who are digging up our drive have severed our phone cable, taking our telephone, TV and internet out in one fell swoop. Later that evening, my brother told us all he's tested positive for COVID. We're now self-isolating in the house for 2 weeks without anything to do - I've bought myself an unlimited data add-on for the month so I can work from home and continue to use Steam. Our ISP won't come and repair the cable until we're COVID free in a couple of weeks.

It's a pain having to wear a mask in the communal areas of the house (none of us are showing symptoms, but kinda have to assume we've probably got it), so I'm spending even more time in my bedroom than usual. I'm going to see how "unlimited" unlimited data is - let's hope no games on Steam have any HUGE updates to test the theory out.
