No 17" AMD?

With all the Intel kerfuffle, I don't think I'll be buying another Intel laptop. I'm not in the market right now, and won't be for a year or two, but looking around, nobody is making AMD gaming laptops (and yes, I know, we can't talk about other manufacturers here). The only ones from PCSpecialist are 15" and that's no good to me for gaming, although at least they have keypads.

Kind of astonished that there are only 2 in the 17" gaming laptops category at the moment, there always used to be 6 models.

New generation laptops are normally announced at the trade show CES in January and then on sale by around March. AMD chassis are in far smaller quantities than intel options and tend to seep out far quicker.

There were a number of 17” options available at launch though
