No 9900K upgrade or build availability?

Is there a reason, beside stock, that the 9900K is no longer available for new builds or (in my instance) upgrades?

I expect its because its an older chip that's been replaced by the 10xxx series chips? Its not showing as 'out of stock' its just not there, so suspect its just not going to be offered again - you'd need to ask PCS directly though to get a firm response.

As well as this it might be connected to the new intel chip being released soon

Its been discontinued. I'd imagine PCS don't have any more in

Intel Core i9-9900K has been discontinued, along with other 9th-gen CPUs
