No HDMI signal HELP!

Hello, I got a PC from PCS awhile back and only recently got the chance to set it up. I brought it abroad with me, so sending it back will be very difficult if needed.
But when I turn it on, it has 1 beep and then a couple more afterwards. The fans and LED lights are all looking fine, but my main issue is that the HDMI is not working to my PC to the Monitor.

I tested my monitor with other HDMI systems like my Nintendo Switch and it worked right away. The issue is within the PC and I don't know what to do. I've tried replugging in 10 times, resetting it, etc. Only thing I have not done is any inside checks since im not confident in that area. I don't know if its display settings or any of that stuff. I literally cannot use or even seen the screen of my PC once.

Here's my specs if anyone asks:

Where have you plugged the cable into at the back? Want to make sure you’ve plugged it into the graphics card and not the motherboard port at the top. The top hdmi port would only work if your CPU has on board graphics. Which in your case, it does not.

Honestly mate if you've only just got it I'd send it back and get a refund and go for a more balanced build

The parts aren't well chosen at all, that CPU cooler is in no way capable of cooling that CPU. It'll throttle like crazy or worse straight up damage the machine as the 12900 is known to get extremely hot to the point of warping

You can get a much much better build for your money

There's that too, I was just focussing on the immediate issue of it apparently not working.

As IRLRobinS said if its plugged into the wrong place it wont work anyways, so please check that first, if you definitely have the monitor plugged into the graphics card then you need to take note of the beeps that the machine is making, they are an error code and will give hints - ie how many beeps and are the short or long beeps and in what order

It may be too late for a 14 day no-questions-asked return now anyway given the comments about it being a while and now being abroad :)

Never mind guys, I fixed it. I opened it up and decided to push all the plugs in and some kind of clicked in.
I think while taking out the foam, some pulled out a tad bit. Thank you for all the suggestions!

I can't do a return unfortunately with my situation. Is the CPU cooler really that bad? I thought PCS recommended the best one for your build while picking your options. I've been using my PC for a day now and its working great so far.

I haven't played any games or anything. So that's probably why im not experiencing any heat issues than?

PcS don't recommend anything, they just list what's compatible with the chipset but it's down to the buyer to know what they're designing or seek help if they don't.
There are other problems though too, the drive config and PSU and monitors.

For anyone reading this, please please please get some advice on specs, it's not the case that you can just throw anything together, it all has to balance to limit bottlenecks.

I see... Well this is scary lol. Whats wrong with my drive config? What's PSU?

Any precautions I need to take? Cause my PC is working great right now despite these anomalies I did.

You've got an old SATA drive which is about a tenth of the speed of a modern drive, so hence performance bottleneck.

The PSU has zero headroom at all, so limited upgradeability.

No precautions you can take other than getting suitable components, the system will thermal throttle and TJMax will be in effect whenever you stress it, the drive will limit the OS performance significantly.

I see, thank you for the help. I'll do what I can!
The CPU cooler can be a bit finnicky but it's not overly complicated to change and the drives can be easily upgrade

The PSU is a bit more of an intensive task though

The main issue and one that will cause problems down the line is the CPU cooler. I'd say you should look to change that asap before it can do damage, if you stress that machine at all that CPU cooler will be working absolutely flatout and it still wont cope with the heat from the 12900 it'll burn out the pump really quickly

I'd recommend a H115i or a H150i minimum to be honest for that CPU
