no sound?

i have a refurbished Dell Optiplex 790 which I purchased from Amazon a short while ago.
And as of yesterday, I have no sound?.
It was fine before that.
Can anyone advise me, please?

Since these forums are owned by PCSpecialist who sell custom built PCs and laptops, these forums are mainly for their support so we can't really help you with your Dell.
You might find the TomsHardware site more useful as its not tied to any particular retailer.
You might end up having to talk to whoever you bought the laptop from, though I'm presuming you haven't actually turned mute on by accident

unfortunately, I'm not too computer Technical.

I had to act quickly as my wife who works for the NHS had to work at home, and I was having problems with it, and couldn't afford a brand new one.
I guess I got impatient.

Dell used to be a decent brand with the emphasis very much on "used to be".
