Hello
I'm looking to purchase a new Gaming PC for my Son obviously I want to try and get the best for my Budget of (£1,000-£1,200, although cheaper the better) As far as I know Crysis 3 is supposed to be the most demanding game so would be interested to know what Frame rate this would run at on Ultra Settings, based on the configuration below? My Son would probably be more interested in Battlefield 4. I have read on these forums that as PC games become more demanding a Intel Core 7 maybe more suitable future proof than an i5, although the PC would mainly be used for gaming. I would overtime modify the PC so for instance add a SSD as a primary Hard Drive at a later date, and also would like to purchase a Nvidia GTX780 so need to know if the spec below would accomodate this in terms of case size and available power or maybe add another GTX770. Also would it be better to order now in light of the January Sales may I be able to pick this up cheaper in the January Sales or if the Graphics cards are likley to get cheaper with the 8800 series on thre horizon. Would your warranty be invalid if you open the case and fit a Graphics card yourself and is it easy to transfer data from the exisiting HDD to a SSD HD when I purchase one? At the moment I have an Advent Intel Core two Quad with a Nvidia GT640 which just can't keep up with Ultra Settings on Games now.
