Hi,

i'm interested by the Octane 3 because there is the i7 6700K

but it's really 3.4Kg ?

the Defiance is 1Kg less

And: the battery of the Octane has more cells than the Defiance but in the specs the Defiance battery has a longer life. What do you think about that?

Thanks

The octane isn't a laptop, it's a desktop replacement and has desktop components, therefor much more powerful than the defiance. The defiance is a top spec laptop that consumes less power hence the battery life being better.

Yes, the octane is really 3.4kg, it's not designed to be portable, but to replace a PC.

Someone reviewed the Octane III and stated that its weight was about 4.5kg or slightly more. As for the battery don't dream too much...pretty sure the battery life is about the same that is to say they both have low battery life :D.

Hi, the Octane is heavy, bear in mind that the brick is about a kilo too.

Battery won't last when gaming, depending on what you're playing, you'll be lucky to get much more than an hour from it. Best to keep plugged in where poss, or get a second battery if you think you need it.

If you're just watching a film or browsing, then you should get a good 3-4 hours from it. Less if you opt for a 4k screen.
