Octane II Pro removed?

The III Pro is coming

I did enquire as to any information regarding it as I almost hit the button on the II pro before going on holiday (in fact I did, it was just delayed so I cancelled it). No release information so far and no price information either.

Can't wait to see the details released. The Chassis information appears to be amazing (100hz screen )

I had mine ordered, but they told me that it was discontinued so I'm getting a Vortex instead

I looked at the Vortex also but it just doesn't compare to the II Pro for me spec wise.

Depending how soon you want it, might be worth waiting to see if the new mobile pascal cards come out soon.

There has not been any announcements as far as I know. Even if the new range of mobile GPUs are release soon it may take a while for new chassis to be available

The Octane II Pro won't be available again, the chassis has been marked as EoL (End of Life/discontinued) by Clevo. You will have to wait for the next generation of chassis.

The octane 3 is likely to be gtx 1080 / 1070, but there's no confirmation on release dates as yet.

Chassis is ready to go as far as I know. It's the P775DM2-G. I believe it's the GPUs that's holding things up.

Nobody knows, but the rumours for a while had been for the mobile cards to come out in August. What that means for availability on the ground is up for debate, however, given the limited desktop 1080 and 1070 supplies.

The Clevo P870GM (Called Vortex V by PCSpecialist) can be configured with a GTX 980, (with the 200W card, the Octane II pro had the 180W version). However PCSpecialist does not have this option, not sure why, maybe you can try another Clevo reseller.

It's just been re-added again, the Pro that is, not sure what's going on as apparently the review spec still isn't available.
