Octane VI HD form factor

I have a bunch of HP server 2TB 2.5" disks that I'd like to use as storage.

The chassis looks fairly chunky will it take the taller form factor disks or will it fit slim disks only?

The detailed specification tab for both Octanes (15.6" and 17.3") says that the HDD bays are 7mm, so you'll need to check the height of your drives.

Thanks for the reply DOH

didn't realise that was there.

One thing I am noticing is it doesn't say its compatible with 3000MHz ram but its an option to select.

Is this an error, or will it run at 3000MHz

If PCS are selling 3000MHz, it'll run at 3000MHz. If it doesn't specifically say on X spec sheet that it's compatible it's either because a) spec sheet was a copy paste and not updated properly or b) that all Intel CPUs list 2666MHz as the basic RAM speed, with anything over that being achieved through XMP profile.

It should run fine.
