Office computer help - sorry if this is in the wrong thread

Hi all, the company I'm doing work experience at is in need of some new computers (tried to make an account for the company but it won't let me log in :/)

We need: three new computers
Budget: ~£1,000
Used for: general office work/telemarketing.
Peripherals - monitors are LG model 25UM58, keyboards are some off brand RGB Rii mechanical wired things, and mice are optical microsoft ones

Computer 1 would for making databases and analysing data, so preferably a desktop
Computers 2 & 3 would be used for telemarketing and would be brought home by employees at some point, so preferably laptops

Desktop is a little over budget. Will see what I can do with the Laptops to counter.

Also, this presumes that Windows licenses are needed, your company may have a corporate license though, so I would check that as that takes £100 straight off the price.

Going for a bit more spec on the laptop I would look at the below. The budget would be over a bit, similar to the desktop though. All very solid choices regardless.

Just to mention with the Lafite, some people have complained about fan noise, it seems that fans are at 35% at the baseline and increase from there, so even until slight load they can get quite loud.

We've had several people report this who've bought without an OS, so it's possible it's just a configuration issue as if the software isn't installed correctly, then the management driver doesn't work properly and that governs the fan speeds.

But there was one person who did order with windows say the same thing, so just highlighting it for full transparency so you're aware.
