Ok hello over the past few weeks i have trolled and trolled through sites LOOKING for a better computer im hoping that this time has been enough so im at a point of wanting to order one and i think what i have lined below will suffice me for at least 3 or 4 yrs "fingers X"

First of a little explanation on the messed up title lol
My computer NEEDS !!!!!!!And quistions !!!

1) im setting up a web-site and will need to be able to do online radio/webcasts ..and my basic internet trolling/online job :D
2) I have spent a FORTUNE on the newest Virtual D.J programme/controller mainly utilising graphics for video mixing onto a BIGSCREEN tv on front of D.J housing currently a 42" wharfdale lcd t.v frikkin awsome it is for a monitor lol
3)Abbleton due to editing mixing and cut sampling and such possibly turning more into music producing sides
4) ability to watch vids/web tv and such again on my main t.v :)
5) Gaming altho im not a crysis kinda guy ide like to at least have the ability to be able to play these if and when i would like to :D

6 LOOKS to me its all about looks i like a GOOD looking computer :)
7) And finally a possobility to buy aquire a decent graphics a3 tablet for doing freelance projects

So yes i am a guy with many fingers in many pies all tasting pretty sweet to be honest but as stated above this comp HAs to be able to withstand the above for at least 3/4 years as this is well haha my 40th bday present to myself SAD but true no silver spooned relatives for me im afraid lol :)

So onto the spec ide like Honest feedback for the below and if anyone else utilises a said graphics card or virtual d.j setup please comment and mention what you use too please so i can compare So without further adooo my HOPEFULLY new set up will look like ..................

Looks good so far :) is there budget that youre working on?

if you want the pc to last you some good long years then your best to not overclock it or just a small one since overclocking drains the cpu lifespan.

the spec could have a few adjustments done to get it better :)

I'd chop the memory down to 8GB and up the PSU to 750W. 600W is OK but it's sailing a bit close to the wind and you might not be able to coverclock your 2500K with it.
Also that 80GB will get eaten quick - spend a bit more for the 120GB and you can fit your favourite games etc on it as well as the OS.
Not sure if the liquid cooler is really needed either so you could save a bit there as well.

O.K teaz so what would you have differently in this system scenario and also stegor really all i need the ssd for is operating system and caching the Virtual D.J prog i use is less than 5 gb total including the graphics additions and various plugins and the operating system is what 30 gb max so really that gives 20+ gb to spare i see yr logic of not overclocking as rteally given the weekend ive thought about it and tbh yah it would probably knock a year or 2 of the life of the chip :) and i see what you mean by the liquid cooling could be replaced with the other fan pipe cooler in stock as really the idea of the liquid cooling was mainly due to the use of the overclocking if u2 want to give me a similar spec maybe better or similar giving a breakdown on main usage that would aid me even more ide say my max limit realisticly is 1300 its a lot as said and if you swap and change a few bits i dont mind remember i am recording live video for excessive ammounts of time ie 2/3/ or even 4 hr sets :) i suppose i COULD split these into 2 hr sets releasing some of the strain but i like to keep my sets whole :D
also if you could give me the PROS of having the extra memory against dropping to maybe 8 let me know also im logging daily over the coming few days and WILLK be making some sort of order by friday i do hope you can repply by then all the best and sorry for delay had to throw 2 parties over weekend and my touchpad sound decided to blow as i was unplugging it all so its imperetive i get theis sorted asap really as this machine will take its place and also remember ill be utilising usb3 or the 2 tb drive to store my mass video/music catalogue not the ssd :) altho ide LOVE to be able to have the money for say a 500gb ssd and utilise that as my catalogue knowing its faster than a mclaren f1 in comparison to the other drives out there but alas i cant all the best
GIZMO and THANKS

A couple of quick comments - if I get time I might do a spec - but I don't really know how virtual dj works etc so it's a bit difficult.

The only reason I can think of for 18GB is if the dj program will use it all which I think unlikely.
Be aware that the WD20EARS powers down if it isn't accessed for a while and takes a second or 2 to fire up - this may be an issue if say, a buffer fills up when recording and needs to write to disk but the drive isn't ready. If anyone wants to correct me on that one feel free - I'm not an expert!
