Only one problem with this company..

I know they don't have control of my package after they have sent it off, but they do have control the method in sending my package.
My build and tests was finished within 3 days, but WHY DOES THE DELIVERY TAKE 5 DAYS!!!!

I chose fast track for a reason, not to be then hold back by delivery for 5 days!!!
Now I have to wait till 6 june for my pc to arrive!!!

Aghh, it went all so smooth until now..
Seriously, reconsider your delivery company.. In the mean time i'm just going to be sitting here annoyed
I will have college again on 11 june, this will give me less than 4 days to play games until things get back to being more serious..

Very frustrated man!!
I guess there was no point in doing fast track since I won't get it early anyway, so I could play it in half term.
Why the hell did they not tell me delivery would take an extra 5 days??

Lesson learned: don't waste 60 quid on delivery when it comes to this company..

Oh, i get you.. Bank holidays. To be fair, it's most likely the same with every computer manufacturer out there. You're most likely not the only customer in the same boat, but PCS is powerless to do anything, as DPD won't work on mon/tues Technically, PCS fufilled their part of the contract, built it within 5 days and shipped it out to you, just unfortunate about the Bank holidays

You have to pay £19 for Saturday delivery unfortunately Not many businesses work on Sundays, and DPD is one of those i believe. I may be wrong, but i think it's an extended bank holiday because of Queeny? Not 100%

Saturday delivery is different for pretty much all delivery companies.

Sunday delivery, I believe is governed by a certain drop in temperature in the abode of a certain Mr B. A. Zebub.

Monday is a bank holiday

Tuesday is also a bank holiday

And then we have Wednesday 6th of June...first working day after today

DPD don't deliver on Sundays, or bank holidays or public/special holidays, Monday is a bank holiday, Tuesday is a special holiday (or whatever they're calling it)
DPD only deliver on Saturday if you have paid for Saturday delivery

Honestly I think its a bit OTT. The language and frustration portrayed in your first post. It would be like me paying for first class post and flipping out they have a day off on Sunday and is not delivered till Monday. Everyone is entitled to a day off, and just because people pay extra for a faster service it doesnt mean that everything will be done as and when you want. Almost every company out there would not have delivery service on Sunday or bank holidays. And Im sure Pcs or courier dont intend on working over the Bank Holiday.

I appreciate your are frustrated with the wait, and also appreciate you paid extra for fast track, but feaking out wont do anyone any good. I do feel for you with the news of the later then expected delivery etc, but you will just have to try and be patient for the extra couple of days. Enjoy the Bank holiday and the better weather we have been having.

I believe it is the Queens Jubilee this week end there and so have a double Bank Holiday on the Monday and the Tuesday. Id that is so then That is why it wont be delivered Monday or Tuesday. Sunday there is never any post. Not here anyway.

Hehe, I guess if you're at school/college/uni you don't tend to realise when the bank holidays are if they're within the half-terms/summer holidays
Once you start working though you know when they all are (woot, 4-day weekend)
