Optimus II fingerprint reader?

I got my new laptop through yesterday (woo!) and was puzzled to find that it seems to have fingerprint reading software installed. Does the Optimus II have a fingerprint reader on it? I thought it didn't and I can't find one anywhere on the machine.

No - the Optimus II doesn't have a fingerprint reader. It may be that the software was installed from the disc in error on your order.

I believe you can disable to fingerprint reader from Device Manager by going to "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System" and clicking on "Device Manager" at the top left of the page.
