Optimus II Touch Pad

Hoping someone can help with this.

How do you change the sensitivity on the touchpad, when I type the cursor jumps all over the place which is so annoying.

Alternatively can it be disabled?

All help appreciated.

hi, on the disk supplied with the laptop there should be a program Synaptics pointing device, this will allow you to adjust the sensativity of the touchpad. To disable it use 'Fn' and 'F1'

Good tip, known it for a while though, every time you open it from sleep you have to press that short cut to turn it off again.

Any ideas how to disable it completely?

Had no luck finding the driver etc.

Not totaly sure but in Synaptics pointing device properties, i think you can disable it under the 'device settings' tab.
