you can drop the 8GB 1600MHz RAM down to the 8GB 1333MHz version without any noticeable impact, to save a few pounds.
the Core i7-3610QM (quad core) is slighty cheaper than the dual core i5 processor you have chosen, and will make your CPU a lot more future-capable.
DEFINITELY get the Silver Warranty for £5.
i assume you have your own OS, since you have chosen to buy the laptop without it?

this spec might suit you:

Thank you for your answer Adli. Processor was the main thing I wasn't sure about, those were the two I was considering. About the RAM - I could as well get the Kingston Hyper-X, they're only +13GBP. Thank you for your advice.

yes, the 1600MHz RAM is fine to get if you want to spend a little more. you might need to set it to run at 1600MHz as from what i have read, it arrives clocked at 1333MHz. 8GB of it is fine for gaming, you only need more than 8GB if you are using heavy creative/rendering programs such as CAD or Creative Suite.

the i5 dual-core processor is fine for current gaming, but it would be good to have a Quad Core in the future as more software becomes optimised for Quad Core processors. Laptops are harder to upgrade than Desktops, so choosing a Quad Core now will save having to buy a new Laptop/expensive upgrade later.

As I can see you're currently using system that you suggested me, can you tell me something more about it? How capable of running games is it and maybe some reviews about build quality, because I'm really considering to order it tomorrow. 8 GB of RAM will be more than enough for me since I'm not doing anything else than playing the games, surfing the internet and sometimes working in Microsoft Office.

i assume that you are going to buy Microsoft Office, an Operating System and an Anti-Virus via student discount, or via free programs like Microsoft Security Essentials?

My father works in company that's connected with IT and data analysis that requires using MS Excel and stuff like that, and he can get OS and MS with huge discounts. And about Anti-Virus, I've decided to buy ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5. I like that it's not so much resource hungry and easy to use.
