Optimus Pro CPU dilemma

Hello everyone,
Can you help me with a dilemma I have concerning the expected purchase of the Optimus Pro configuration?
I bought one PCS laptop in 2013 and it still works, but I need a much stronger machine now to serve primarily as a mobile 3D rendering machine (3ds Max / Vray / Corona / Lumion), but also for gaming (Cyberpunk 2020 ready) and other heavy standard usages.

Yesterday I found out that PCS offers AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor option besides Intel i7 10875H. To make this choice I tried to inform myself about the pros and cons of each, but still lack some information.

My main question is which processor is better suited for this Optimus Pro platform (MoBo, thermals, stability)?
If anyone has any inputs it would be immensely helpful as I plan to make this purchase in the following days.

Thank you!

We love you Ukraine
The Ryzen is superior in almost every use case, single threaded is almost equal, every other metric just smashes intel, most importantly uses about half the power so thermals will be manageable.

Bit have you considered the Nova which has a desktop Ryzen 3000 cpu?

Thank you Spydertracks.

No, I haven`t considered it. Do you mean to go for Nova and select Ryzen 3700X? I think that would be 150E more expensive (with better monitor although). I don`t know anything about Nova platform (is it Clevo?). Do you think this would be worth it and would it provide ok thermals?

Thank you for your time!

umm, how would we compare the 4800h and 3700x in the nova? (any benchmark comparisons on the internet are with a desktop 3700x)
Could you ask PCS if they've run benchmarks etc and share what the performance delta is? if it's not that big, there's no need to go with a DTR as the nova is just super fat and heavy and pathetic battery life.
