Optimus Series: 13.3 - Keyboard at regular intervals starts typing number 5

Hi,

For some reason, almost randomly, about every 5 minutes or so, I start seeing number 5 being typed non stop without me pressing the key. It keeps typing the number 5 until I press any key on the keyboard. It then stops for a few minutes. Then if I don't use the keyboard it starts again after a few minutes.

Do I need to buy a new keyboard?

Most likely you'll need a replacement keyboard. It's worth phoning PCS about it as they may provide one free if it's still under warranty. They just ship it out for you to fit yourself, it's very easy to fit.

I guess then I will just have to order a new keyboard (I am outside my warranty window by a few months) and hope its the keyboard and not something else.
